ABBOTT QUIROZ
artist
Abbott Quiroz has been an artist for over fifty years, drawing inspiration from his countless travels and adventures. Many of his pieces include tranquil scenes of beaches, forests and farmhouses. For seventeen years, Abbott worked as a security guard for Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. At work, he carried a small sketchbook in his pocket and when able, retraced his travels by memory, escaping the noise and chaos of the hospital if only for a brief moment. In retirement, Abbott still carries a sketchbook everywhere he goes, retracing his memories and illustrating what he calls “Simpler Times” in his “Yesteryears.”
Christie Belcher
Crafter
Christie Belcher started crafting as a way to release pent up energy and frustration. It soon became a favorite hobby and eventually transpired into a successful and fulfilling business. Christie started by making holiday earrings and soon expanded her line of oddities to include greeting cards, gift tags, holiday ornaments, signs, and a plethora of personalized gifts. Working as a surgical technologist, she saw a need to craft her most sought after creation—badge holders; from bedazzled and blingy to sports teams, animated characters, professions, and everything in-between.
Teagan Belcher
artist/illustrator
Teagan Belcher’s artwork reflects her spunky and charismatic personality; often creating characters she feels an emotional or moody connection to. She is a loyal friend, a kind daughter, and an exceptional student. Teagan has a brilliant sense of humor and is always smiling. Her expansive knowledge of Disney and Star Wars trivia far outweighs even the most dedicated followers and fans. When she is not doodling, Teagan is watching anime or has her nose in a good book…or let’s be honest, sleeping.
